Many of our Lawmen are interested in a seminar to be held in Battle Creek.
Please let me know if you wish to attend and if you will
need motel accommodations. It will focus on court procedures for Pro-se
litigants and defendants.
The price of the motel should be very reasonable and costs need to be
kept at a minimum. I have not firmed up anything yet but have about 8
people wanting to attend as of now.

Dear Lawmen: I can announce your local meetings if you will notify me in
advance. This gets the info out very fast and our membership can see how
other groups are handling their meetings. Below is a post from Hal Dunn.
Hal is referring to the latest Notice of Default for the Register of Deeds.
It is working out very well that we have a state wide meeting at a
central location and the local groups around the state still have their
meetings.
Stockbridge Group : The next meeting is on (to be announced) @ 5:30pm ( a dinner meeting). The Place will be the Stage Stop Restaurant on M-52 in Stockbridge. We will have the place untill 8:00pm. The directions are from I-94 exit at Chelsea and go north on M 52 or from I-96exit at Webberville and go south on M52. Usually about 30 people show at this meeting. If you want to drive with me, we will meet @ Sams parking lot (SW corner) on ford rd just east of I-275 and will leave @ 4:30 PM.
Wayne County Group : On (To be announced) @ 7:00 pm the Wayne County Group will again meet at Montanas for our monthly meeting. Montanas is in Westland on Ford Rd. at Wildwood , one traffic light east of Wayne rd. . The Restaurant is set way back facing Ford Rd. and the food is great. Attendance @ the last meeting was 12 , a record !!
