IMPORTANT:

Remember when writing people in Club Fed:

* All mail must have a return address on the envelope.

A lot of facilities refuse no-return-address mail.

* Include no paper clips or staples. These are considered

contraband. Think "nothing metal."

* Include no stamps or even SASE. These will be confiscated.

* If you send a book, it must be a paperback and from the publisher.

These are more or less universal rules. A lot of people don't believe these facts until they experience this first hand to mail somebody and then wonder why they never answer when in reality the prison system confiscated the contraband.

Use the Inmate locater to verify they are at the correct address, in case they have been moved.
